For couples who embrace adventure and are excited by the nontraditional – who, more than anything, want to be present with the people who've made them, them.
My wedding photography is people-driven. While I will take care to photograph your details, it is the human connection that inspires me. Flat-lays are not my thing. Getting published does not interest me. I am allergic to Pinterest and to very large bridal parties. If the performative aspects of weddings give you the ick, well, same.
Comfortable, familiar affection over dips.
Faces over phones.
Marriage over weddings.
I will arrive well-rested and dressed professionally. I will carry your bouquet/clutch/shoes, fix your hair, throw my body in a riverbed to help you cross it, flex my creative muscles, woo your Uncle Dave and at some point during the day, I will make a fart joke. My job is no joke, but jokes are my job. Feel me?
My pronouns are she/her. I celebrate and support the diversity, lives and love of couples of any race, color, sex, disability, affectional or sexual orientation, gender identity or ethnicity. All love is safe with me.
I am pro-women and pro-choice.
If any of this resonates, perhaps we are meant to be. If not, that’s okay too.
Anyway, I love my dogs - Blu, a rescue pit bull and Bea, a stray from Puerto Rico. They give me as much joy as anything else I can think of. I live here in Lake Placid, and find hope and strength (or whatever it is I’m seeking that particular day) in the woods on my bike. I’m married to a man who makes me breakfast most mornings, which, as it turns out, is my love language. Pancakes forever.
Thank you for being here.
